Dana Wallace, MS, OTR/L, CHT
Dana is a Certified Hand Therapist and Occupational Therapist specializing in Hand Therapy since 2005. She received a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Russell Sage College in Albany, NY and went on to specialize in Hand Therapy, earning the prestigious Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification in 2012.
Dana has extensive upper extremity experience and expertise with both children and adults. She works directly with Hand Surgeons locally and has devoted the past eight years to specializing in orthopedic upper extremity injuries of the upper arm, elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand. She assisted with implementing and developing Hand Therapy programs at orthopedic practices in both Georgia and Virginia. She continues to be an active member of The American Society of Hand Therapists.
Dana has earned the Advanced Casting and Orthosis/Splint Fabrication Certification and brings vast knowledge and experience in the field of Hand Therapy as an Upper Extremity Rehabilitation Specialist. You will be in excellent hands with Dana!
Chanele Molano, MS, OTR/L
Chanele Molano is a registered and licensed occupational therapist. She completed her graduate studies in 2017 at James Madison University where she received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy and completed her undergraduate work in Exercise Science at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Chanele was published as a contributing author in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy. She is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists as well as the American Occupational Therapy Association and presented at the National AOTA Conference in April 2017. While working at NOVA Hand Therapy Center, Chanele loves seeing her patients make great progress toward their client centered goals and continues to pursue her passion of becoming a certified hand therapist in the near future!
Katie Huppi, MS, OTR/L
Katie Huppi is a registered and licensed occupational therapist. She completed a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at Rush University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Tulane University. She is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and American Occupational Therapy Association. She is a competitive synchronized figure skater, who has won several National titles with her synchronized skating team. Katie looks forward to helping her patients achieve their goals and regain independence.
Sarah Hansen, MS, OTR/L
Sarah Hansen is a registered and licensed occupational therapist. She completed her graduate studies in 2017 at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and completed her undergraduate work in Health Education at the University of Florida. Sarah is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Sarah loves working with the diverse group of patients at NOVA Hand Therapy and helping them reach their client centered goals and return to their daily activities. Sarah recently moved to Northern Virginia from Central Florida to pursue her goal of becoming a certified hand therapist. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Sarah is excited to be a part of an outstanding and compassionate team at NOVA Hand Therapy.
Christina Nebrich, Clinic Manager
Chris has demonstrated success in the health care field for over 9 years. She has worked in multi-specialty practices and leads with a very hands-on approach. She has developed proven strategies in the management of daily operations of these organizations, including billing and accounts receivable. Chris' goal as the Office Manager of Northern Virginia Hand Therapy Center is to maintain a productive and efficient working environment along with helping the practice grow to its full potential. Patients appreciate the caring and professional demeanor that Chris brings to her job.
Denise Mitchell, Front Desk Coordinator
Denise joined NOVA Hand Therapy Center after spending several years at home taking care of her 2 children. During her time at home, she developed a passion for the health and fitness industry and decided to pursue a job that would compliment these interests. She feels very lucky to be working in an office with the amazing staff at NOVA Hand Therapy! In her spare time, Denise teaches BODYPUMP fitness classes, loves running with her dogs, listening to music and spending time with her family. She enjoys talking with all types of people and personalities and learning about their interests and what makes them unique!
Tracy Perry, MBA, Business Marketing Director
Tracy is our Marketing Director and is excited to join the NOVA Hand Therapy Family. She earned her undergraduate degree from Penn State University and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to joining NOVA Hand Therapy, she spent over 25 years as a Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Representative in the Washington, D.C. area where she was consistently recognized for superior sales performance. She is looking forward to educating the Northern Virginia medical community about NOVA Hand Therapy and how we can serve their patients.
Lauren Manzo, Front Desk Coordinator
Lauren joined the clinic in November of 2018. While working part time, she has enjoyed getting to know the staff and patients. She works hard to ensure that the front desk runs seamlessly and patients are happy. Lauren believes that challenges make life interesting, but overcoming those challenges makes life meaningful.
When she’s not working or shopping, Lauren enjoys reading, spending time with friends and walking her dogs.
Kayla Berry, OT Aide
Kayla is an Occupational Therapy Aide that wishes to become a Licensed Occupational Therapist. She is interested in many different aspects of OT, including hand therapy and pediatrics. She recently graduated from James Madison University and majored in Health Sciences with a concentration in Pre-OT. Kayla enjoys getting to know the patients and watching them improve and progress.
Jailene Rodriguez, OT Aide
Jailene is an Occupational Therapy Aide who is currently attending Northern Virginia Community College to become a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She thoroughly enjoys helping patients and watching them grow and improve with every session. She wants more than anything to make a difference in the lives of those in need and deeply loves working and learning with the NOVA Hand Therapy Team!
